UN Envoy Condemns Recent Violence by Syria, Rebels

The United Nations mediator for Syria, who held talks with President Bashar al-Assad this week, Wednesday condemned the government's "unacceptable" heavy bombing of civilian areas near Damascus and deadly rebel attacks on Aleppo.
