Protests in Texas After Police Confront Black Teens

Police in the southern U.S. state of Texas are investigating the actions of an officer who threw an unarmed teenage girl to the ground after being called to break up a pool party. The officer resigned from the force on Tuesday. But with increased national scrutiny on how race and force are handled by law enforcement, activists are again crying foul over the latest case of what they see as excessive use of force.
