Incredible One Stone Food Challenge

FOLLOW: A diner claims to be cooking Britain’s biggest meat feast by offering customers a ONE STONE bucket of food consisting of more than three times the daily calorie intake. The Ambrosia ‘food of the Gods’ challenge, cooked at Huckleberry’s American Diner, in York, contains more than 9,000 calories – three times the recommended daily intake – and weighs in at more than one stone, roughly the weight of two new-born babies. The Man Vs Food-style challenge, is served in numerous buckets and contains a gut-busting 2lb of pulled turkey in white gravy, 2lb of garlic pulled pork, 2lb of sticky bourbon beef, 2lb of slow cooked beef brisket topped with smoked cheese, four racks of black treacle BBQ pork ribs weighing over 5lb and 2lb of mashed potato on the side. The colossal meal, sold for £50, has only been attempted by a few brave diners since it was launched at the restaurant earlier this month and so far no one has managed to scoff the monster meal in under the allotted hour.
