World Marks 70th Anniversary of VE Day

May 8 is the 70th anniversary of what is known as Victory in Europe Day, or VE Day, marking the day in 1945 when Nazi troops finally laid down their arms, ending World War II on the continent. In Britain, hundreds of remembrance ceremonies are taking place Friday, while concerts and street parties are being held across the country in an effort to re-create the spirit of the day.  A large concert is scheduled for London's Saint James Park where there will also be a reception...
