Security Forces Retake Somali Ministry in Mogadishu

Somali security forces and African Union troops have retaken the Headquarters of the Higher Education Ministry after an attack by al-Shabab militants, witnesses and officials said. A witness who was at the building when the attack started told VOA Somali that al-Shabab gunmen have detonated a car full of explosives on the wall of the Ministry followed by armed gunmen who stormed the building.
