Attack at Kenya's Garissa University

Gunmen have attacked Garissa University in eastern Kenya, near the Somali border, killing at least two people are wounding several others.  The attackers are reported to have taken hostages in a student residence. Officials at the U.S. embassy in Nairobi say they have reports that the al-Shabab militant group has claimed responsibility for the pre-dawn attack at the university. Witnesses on campus said students in campus housing were awakened by the sound of gunfire Thursday...
