Yahoo Closes Last China Office

Yahoo is closing its last remaining office in mainland China, the latest cost-cutting measure imposed by the struggling U.S. Internet giant. Between 200 and 300 employees will be laid off as a result of the closure of the Beijing office, according to news reports Thursday. The office primarily served as a research and development center.
