German President Who Challenged Holocaust Attitudes Dies at 94

Richard von Weizsaecker, the German president who challenged German attitudes about the Holocaust by arguing that the country had been liberated by the 1945 Nazi defeat, died Saturday, the current president's office said. He was 94.
