Egyptian Doctor Convicted in Landmark FGM Case

An Egyptian court has convicted a doctor of manslaughter in the death of a 13-year-old girl following a botched female genital mutilation procedure. Raslan Fadl was sentenced to two years, three months in prison on Monday after a judge overturned his original acquittal on an appeal.
