Woman Charged in Deaths of 8 Children in Australia

Australian police have charged a woman with murder in the stabbing deaths of eight children. Queensland police said 37-year-old Mersane Warria was charged Sunday with eight counts of murder in a bedside hearing at a hospital in the city of Cairns where she is recovering from stab wounds.
