Woman Arrested in Stabbing Deaths of 8 Children

Australian police say they have arrested the mother of most of the eight children killed in the northern city of Cairns. The children had apparently been stabbed to death. Authorities said the 37-year-old woman was under guard Saturday after being hospitalized in stable condition with stab wounds to the chest. The woman was the mother of seven of the children. The eighth was her niece. Queensland state police were called to a house in the Cairns suburb of Manoora Friday...
