Gunman Dies After Firing on Buildings in Texas State Capital

U.S. authorities say a gunman has died after opening fire on downtown area buildings in the Texas state capital of Austin. The gunman tried to set fire to the Mexican consulate and also fired on police headquarters and a U.S. courthouse early Friday, before engaging in a shootout with police.
