Survey: Nearly 70 Percent of Poles Oppose Adopting of Euro

Nearly 70 percent of Poles are against Poland dropping its currency, the zloty, and adopting the euro, according to a survey out Thursday by Polish polling company CBOS. Only 24 percent were in favor of joining the euro, while 68 percent were against, CBOS said. “Since February 2013 the percentage of supporters of Poland's accession to the euro zone has fallen by 5 (percentage) points and is currently at one of the lowest levels in the history of our surveys,” the polling firm said...
