Egyptian-American Detainee Hospitalized in Cairo

An Egyptian-American imprisoned in Egypt has been transferred to an intensive care unit at a Cairo hospital. Human rights group Amnesty International said Wednesday that Mohammed Soltan's health deteriorated dramatically after more than eight months on a hunger strike. Amnesty said he is thought to be critically ill and has been passing out frequently, as well as bleeding from his mouth and nose.
