Zambian President Michael Sata has been admitted to a hospital in New York city. Sata was in New York for the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, where he was scheduled to speak Wednesday. He did not deliver the address to the 193-member world body. The press office at the New York Police Department told VOA he was taken to the hospital Thursday, but gave no further details about which hospital or Sata’s condition.
