Pakistan Appoints New Spy Chief

Pakistan has appointed a new chief for the country's powerful intelligence agency. An army statement Monday said Major General Rizwan Akhtar has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant general and will take over as head of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) effective October 1.
