Digital Upgrade Threatens America's Drive-in Theaters

As more movie theaters around the world upgrade to new technology that delivers a crisper looking picture and sharper soundtrack, the cost to upgrade to these new formats are pushing a once iconic part of the American landscape to the edge of extinction. As VOA’s Kane Farabaugh reports, old school movie theaters are relying on new age social media to keep them relevant, and in business.
