Crisis level reached in Gaza health facilities

Kirrily Clarke, an ICRC health delegate in Gaza, shares her impressions about the critical situation of health facilities in Gaza, as a consequence of one month of hostilities, and describes the many challenges ahead. The capacity and professionalism of surgeons and nurses in Gaza are very high, however the health system as a whole is in crisis, as several health facilities have been damaged, patients given early discharge are returning and those suffering from chronic diseases also need attention.
