North Korea Fires Artillery Shells Near Sea Border

South Korea's military says North Korea has fired artillery shells into an area near its maritime border.  A spokesman for the South's Joint Chiefs of Staff said dozens of shells were fired into the waters at its eastern sea border near the demilitarized zone that separates the secretive North from the democratic South.
