Middle East Peace Envoy Martin Indyk Quits

Martin Indyk, the United States’ special envoy overseeing Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, has resigned. The U.S. State Department on Friday confirmed Indyk’s resignation, which had been anticipated after peace talks this spring reached a stalemate.
