The world’s oceans are under assault. Many fisheries are on the brink of collapse, and 90 percent of the largest fish are overfished. The increasing concentration of global carbon emissions is making waters warmer and more acidic, which is harming coral reefs, home to about one-third of everything that lives in the sea.
