Dramatic "anti-terror" training drill in Beijing

Around 3,000 paramilitary policemen take part in what they call an "anti-terror" drill in Beijing. This footage from the China News Service shows shows around 20 actors playing tourists and perpetrators taking people hostage, as two explosions are set off nearby. It's the largest training drill of its kind in recent years, according to Chinese state media. The exercise included 90 vehicles and lasted 40 minutes. Another drill included 10 actors, wearing bright yellow, attacking people in a fake train station with long knives. The training program is part of a nationwide initiative following attacks in March in the city of Kunming in which Twenty-nine people were stabbed to death.
