Cousteau's grandson to take 31-day "epic" underwater plunge

On June 1st, Fabien Cousteau, grandson of legendary sea explorer Jacques Cousteau, will plunge underwater for 31-days. It marks the 50th anniversary of Jacques Cousteau's Conshelf Two mission, where a team of explorers spent an unprecedented 30 days in an underwater habitat. (SOUNDBITE) (English) UNDERWATER EXPLORER FABIEN COUSTEAU SAYING "Mission 31 is an epic 31-day mission where I'm going to be taking a group of six people to live and work underwater in the world's only undersea marine laboratory for 31 days." Cousteau says spending time underwater in close-quarters with others teaches important lessons on land, and in space.
