Obama takes detour to Little League game

He's not someone you'd expect to bump into at a Little League baseball game. But U.S. President Barack Obama took an unexpected detour on his way to a fundraiser Monday night. He popped by Friendship Park in Northwest Washington and surprised the team players. The kids were warming up before their games. The president said he didn't want to break up the game... But the excited players -- and their shocked parents --had some trouble concentrating as they reached for their phones to take a quick photo. Obama was dressed rather formally for the game -- but he still managed to play a bit of ball. The president had a chance to show his arm, grabbing a baseball he lobbed it to one of the ten-year-olds for a ceremonial first pitch.
