Emergency talks on MERS bug

The World Health Organisation's holding an emergency meeting on the MERS virus as more cases are reported. There's no vaccine or treatment against the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome which has killed about 800 people worldwide since 2002. (SOUNDBITE)(English) WHO SPOKESMAN TARIK JASARVEVIC SAYING: "The recent surge in the number of cases that we have seeni Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as some cases that have been exported to other countries, raised public concern and raised questions whether the virus has changed in any way." MERS is found in bats and camels Most cases in the current oubreak are in Saudi Arabia wher it's thought most were infected in hospital. Cases have also been reported in other Middle Eastern countries, in Europe, and the United States.
