Killer blaze at India firework factory

PLEASE NOTE: EDIT CONTAINS MATERIAL THAT WAS ORIGINALLY 4:3 The blaze that ripped through this fireworks factory in central India killed at least 15 people, three of them children. Others suffered serious burns in the fire in Madhya Pradesh state. It wasn't immediately clear what started the blaze. The state government's offering compensation worth just over 1660 U.S. dollars for the families of those who died. Relatives of the injured are being offered half that amount. Fire safety rules throughout India are generally lax, rarely implemented and are not periodically reviewed.
