Simpsons celebrate 25th anniversary

Fox's hit animated show "The Simpsons" is about to celebrate its 25th year ... and to mark the milestone, the show is getting a plastic makeover. SOUND UP "Brick Like Me," will mark the 550th installment of the world's most watched U.S. television program. The episode's co-writer Matt Selman says he knew something special needed to happen in Springfield to mark the occasion. (SOUNDBITE) (English) Matt Selman, writer for "The Simpsons" Lego episode, saying (English): "If you watch the episode slowly we put in tons of hidden background jokes, references to "The Simpsons," references to Legos. So, it really rewards a close viewing. We are not going to waste this opportunity, we jammed every little freeze frame Lego reference background joke we could possibly do.
