Calgary stabbings: Policeman's son kills five university of Calgary students at party

Check out our official website: out our Android app: out our iOS app:­----------------------------------------­----------------A 22-year-old man is in custody after five students were brutally stabbed to death at a house party in northwest Calgary.The suspect, identified as Matthew de Grood, is the son of a veteran police officer and recent graduate from the University of Calgary.Reports said the suspect arrived at the party, obtained a large knife and targeted the victims one by one, stabbing them.The suspect fled the scene on foot but was arrested about 40 minutes later a few blocks from the house with assistance from the K-9 unit. He was taken to hospital to be treated for a dog bite.The five victims, four males and a female, were all aged between 22 and 27.The motive for the attack is still unknown.
