Survivors recall early moments of ferry rescue

At this temporary shelter in Jindo, South Korea, the huddled survivors of a capsized ferry are still in shock. Their boat was carrying close to 500 people when it started sinking off the southwest coast early Wednesday. About 175 people were rescued but more than 280 people are still missing. (SOUNDBITE) (Korean) 18-YEAR-OLD PASSENGER CHOI MIN-JI, WHO WAS RESCUED FROM THE SUNKEN FERRY, SAYING: "I almost got trapped. If I had been told to go outside, I would've jump into the water through the exit, but I couldn't." At least four people are confirmed dead. It's not immediately clear why the ferry capsized in apparently calm conditions. Passengers spoke of an impact before the sinking. One survivor wondered if more lives could have been saved.
