"I'm not afraid to die for freedom" -- pro-Russia activist in Ukraine

Armed and masked, protesters in Slaviansk are barricading a seized Ukrainian police station. In the early hours of the morning at least 20 men seized the station. They want to hold a referendum to join Russia. Only death will stop this activist. (SOUNDBITE) (Russian) ARMED ACTIVIST, ALEXANDER, SAYING: "We want to unite with Russia. We will be thankful to Russia, if they help us. But we'll stay until victory. Honestly, I am not afraid to die for freedom." The region's police chief has already quit, and there's no word on how authorities would tackle the problem. Officials said the men had seized hundreds of pistols from arsenals in the building. They replaced the Ukrainian flag with the Russian one.
