Atlanta Archbishop to sell his $2.2 million mansion

Pope Francis has made humility and poverty the hallmarks of his papacy. He wants the Catholic church to serve the poor and the clergy to lead by example. Meanwhile, the Archbishop of Atlanta, Wilton Gregory, has been criticized for his lavish spending of church money. His 6-thousand plus square foot residence is one example. But his communications director says he's now selling the $2.2 million mansion. (SOUNDBITE) (English) Communications Director for the Archdiocese of Atlanta, Patricia Chivers, saying: "Archbishop Gregory announced today that he will vacate the residence in early May, and move into another available archdiocesan property, excluding the former residence." The mansion was built after receiving a $15 million donation from the family estate of "Gone With the Wind" author Margaret Mitchel.
