Four Dead in Shooting at US Army Base

A shooting at the Fort Hood army base in central Texas has left at least four people dead, including the gunman. Area hospitals have treated 16 injured people, including a few who are still listed as in critical condition.   Speaking to reporters at Fort Hood's main gate late Wednesday, Lt. General Mark Milley said investigators determined that the man who carried out the shooting was a soldier stationed at the base and that he had died on the scene of a self-inflicted gunshot....
