One person killed in Cairo clashes

Protesters supporting ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi clash with security forces in Cairo Police fire tear gas at the crowds, on a day of nationwide student demonstrations. One person was killed near Cairo University. An official said eight more were wounded. The protesters were demonstrating against a court ruling earlier this week condemning more than 500 alleged Muslim Brotherhood supporters to death.
