Ukraine PM addresses UN Security Council on Crimea

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk addressed the United Nations Security Council in New York City on Thursday (March 13) about the situation in Crimea. Yatseniuk has been in the United States where he also met with President Barack Obama on Wednesday at the White House. "You're well aware what's on the ground," Yatseniuk told the Security Council, in what appeared to be unrehearsed remarks. "My country has faced a military aggression of a neighboring country, which is a P-5 member. This aggression has no reason and no grounds. This is absolutely and entirely unacceptable in the 21st century to resolve any kind of conflict with tanks, artillery and boots on the ground," he said. Russian forces are in control of Ukraine's Crimea peninsula as separatists in the region seeks to secede from Ukraine and join the Russian Federation.
