Flight search nears one-week mark

Twelve nations are now involved in the hunt for the missing plane and its 239 passengers and crew. It's one of the world's most baffling aviation mysteries. It's also casting a harsh spotlight on Malaysia's government and its handling of the incident. During the search there's been a litany of confusing messages and a perceived lack of transparency. The problems have included conflicting information about the last time of contact with the missing jet.
