Families of Chinese passengers on vanished Malaysian airliner head to Kuala Lumpur

It's a day they never expected to come. Distraught family members of Chinese passengers onboard a missing Malaysia Airlines flight prepare to travel to Malaysia from Beijing Monday. The jetliner, which vanished one hour into flight Saturday, had been bound for Beijing after taking off from Kuala Lumpur. Two-hundred thirty-nine people were onboard - about two-thirds of them Chinese. Family members have been waiting for information in a nearby hotel, where media stood camped outside. Later, a bus carrying dozens of relatives leaves the hotel heading for the VIP entrance to Beijing Capital International Airport. They file into the airport past volunteers from the airline. They head to Malaysia still knowing little about the fate of loved ones, and fearing the worst. = Families of Chinese passengers on vanished Malaysian airliner head to Kuala Lumpur The distraught relatives of Chinese passengers aboard a missing Malaysian airline
