The Oscars unsung heroes: Best Original Song

All the talk around this year's Academy Awards might be on the best film, but all ears are closely trained on the best original song. It's an all-star category, with nominees including global rock icons, one of R&B's most famous producers and songwriters, and a Broadway power couple. And, says The Hollywood Reporter's Matthew Belloni, it's one of the most competitive races ever. SOUNDBITE: The Hollywood Reporter Executive Editor, Matthew Belloni, saying (English): "You've seen U2 on 'Jimmy Fallon' talking about their Oscar nomination, you see Pharrell doing party after party trying to promote this song from 'Despicable Me 2,' I think what the interesting thing is here, they're all going to lose to the Disney movie." That song, "Let It Go" has become a YouTube sensation. Written by Broadway husband-and-wife team Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the Disney movie song has clocked up over 100 million YouTube views. SOUNDBITE: The Hollywood
