In the latest amateur video out of a Syria, rebels appear to be using tunnels for fighting in Aleppo. This footage purports to show a tunnel that's about 75 meters long and 10 meters deep. The rebels in the video say it's being used to attack the Carlton Hotel. Soldiers and militia loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad are reportedly using the hotel as headquarters. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) UNIDENTIFIED REBEL, SAYING: "We are putting our last touches on and doing some measuring so we can make sure that we are under the Carlton Hotel. We are going to add the explosives after we finish everything and you are going to hear good news, Aleppo people." More footage appears to show a large cloud of smoke rising from the Carlton Hotel after an attack on the building. Rebel sources claim the attack killed at least five soldiers and wounded 18
