It's the waiting game in Italy to see who becomes the next prime minister. Just days ago, Erico Letta was asked to stand down by his Democratic Party for not doing enough to pull the country out of a recession. Now, all eyes are on Matteo Renzi, the Mayor of Florence, who's expected to become the youngest Italian prime minister ever. But President Giorgio Napolitano had to have consultations before any announcement was made. (SOUNDBITE) (Italian) ITALIAN PRESIDENT, GIORGIO NAPOLITANO, SAYING: "Well, you've finished your work and I've finished mine, I felt obliged to give consultations as quickly as possible so that there will be space and serenity for the next job of the person who will be appointed to form a government.
