65 prisoners in Afghanistan freed

Soldiers guard the perimeter of Afghanistan's Bagram prison are on high alert after 65 detainees were released. (SOUNDBITE) (Dari) BAWAR GULL, ARMY SOLDIER AT BAGRAM PRISON SAYING: " They were taken out of the prison. They were holding their clothes in their hands. They received some cash and received instruction from a cleric here. Then they all went home." Some of the inmates had been held for years without trial. The US says the release of these prisoners is a threat to security, as some of these men are responsible for the deaths of Afghanistan civilians and coalition troops. But officials here in Kabul insist there is not enough evidence against them.
