Clashes break out over fare hike at Rio train station

Chaos in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro Thursday, during the afternoon commute. A protest over a ten cent fare hike erupted into clashes between police and angry riders outside a major train station. At least seven people were injured including this cameraman. Friday morning, the streets were calm but the clashes dominated the headlines. And not everyone sympathized with the protesters. (SOUNDBITE) (Portuguese) BUS DRIVER HERNAN DA SILVA MEDEIROS SAYING: "Horrible, horrible. The protesters don't have any direction or someone is giving them directions - directions of anarchy, violence, vagrancy." Others said it's not the fair hike that's at issue.
