At least 15 dead from volcano

PLEASE NOTE: EDIT CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES Casualties from a volcanic eruption on the Indonesian island of Sumatra rise to 15 Sunday. Families and onlookers crowd hospital workers who unload some of the victims- frozen in ash after being caught in the path of the hot volcanic cloud. Mount Sinabung, one of more than 100 active volcanoes in the country, has been spewing ash and poisonous gas for weeks but this is the first time anyone has died from the eruptions. Tens of thousands of residents have been evacuated from the area and officials are recommending the public keep at least a five kilometer radius from the crater. In 2010, Indonesia's most deadly volcanic eruption from Mount Merapi (mer-AH-pee) in central Java killed more than 350 people.
