AU Lifts Madagascar Suspension

The African Union has lifted its suspension of Madagascar, saying the country has completed its transition process and restored constitutional order. The AU's Peace and Security Council decided Monday to end the suspension, which was imposed after a 2009 coup, and invited Madagascar to "immediately resume its participation."
