'Ride Along' drives in second win at the box office

For the second weekend in a row, action-comedy "Ride Along," starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, raced to the top of box office charts. It brought in $21.2 million in ticket sales, according to studio estimates. But despite the film's success in sales, it's been receiving mostly negative reviews. The Rottentomatoes website shows only 17 percent positive reviews for the film. The buddy cop comedy was followed by "Lone Survivor" -- an Afghanistan war tale starring Mark Wahlberg, which brought in $12.6 million. Wahlberg plays the roll of a lone surviving U.S. Navy SEAL who returns from a deadly fire fight with the Taliban. It's the first time in two decades that movies from a single studio have nabbed the top two spots at the theaters for two consecutive weeks. And third in this weekend's box office mix was "The Nut Job," bringing in $12.3 million at U.S. and Canadian box offices.
