Frosty weather from NY to Georgia

A snow storm has hit several states in the U.S., creating hazardous road conditions from Kentucky to New York. In Amherst, New York, high winds were believed to have flipped over a truck on its side. Six inches of snow was the forecast in Columbus, Ohio, with temperatures at 20 degrees Fahrenheit (6 Celsius). In Atlanta - a damaged valve sent sprays of water into the air, that froze and coated trees with ice. Temperatures in the southern state are expected to be unusually cold for the coming week.
