Ukraine protesters seize government building in Kiev

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Ukrainian protesters erected more street barricades and occupied a government ministry building on Friday, fueling tension after the failure of crisis talks with President Viktor Yanukovich. A group of protesters took control of the main agricultural ministry building in the center of Kiev early on Friday, meeting no resistance from police. The move followed the storming of various regional administration headquarters in Western Ukraine on Thursday. Opposition activist Alexander Danilyuk said protesters aimed to occupy all central government administrative buildings in order to stop it from functioning. But he emphasized that such takeovers would not resort to the violence witnessed in recent days between protesters manning the barricades at Independence Square and riot police.
