Ukrainian opposition rallies supporters in night protest

Ukrainian opposition leaders rally supporters and call for sanctions against President Viktor Yanukovich. This comes after the Ukrainian parliament, dominated by Yanukovich supporters, passed the 2014 state budget -- along with a bill sharply increasing punishment and fines for unauthorized mass protests. The law, which still needs the president's signature, bans unauthorized installation of tents, stages or amplifiers in public places. A fine of up to $640, or 15 days in detention, would be imposed. Opposition leaders say it underscores the need to replace Yanukovich.
