Bieber's home raided by police, West files lawsuit

Police searched teen pop star Justin Bieber's California home on Tuesday (January 14) in a vandalism case linked to the singer and arrested a man at the house for drug possession, according to officials. Celebrity news website TMZ identified the man as aspiring rapper Lil Za, real name Xavier Smith. Detectives raided Bieber's home after he was accused of pelting his neighbor's house with eggs. The case is being treated as a felony because it caused $20,000 in damages, according to the homeowner. Kanye West has filed a lawsuit against a digital currency company for trademark infringement. In court documents, West claims Coinye is using his likeness to promote its company. The logo of the coin features a cartoon-like image of West. Coinye, also known as crypto-currency, is similar to Bitcoin, a paperless currency people can use like cash anywhere in the world.
