Ukrainians drive to prosecutor general's house to protest

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Ukrainian anti-government activists held a "protest drive" towards the house of the country's Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka on Saturday December 28. About 50 cars drove from the European square in central Kiev towards a village Gorenichi, about five kilometers outside the capital, where the prosecutor-general lives. The drive was continuation of a new tactics used by activists - to bring protest to the doors of the state officials. Two days ago a protest was held outside the house of Ukraine's Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko. It followed an attack on Ukraine's investigative reporter and opposition activist Tetyana Chornovil who was brutally beaten by unknown attackers. The attack came hours after she posted pictures online of what she said was Zakharchenko's home, part of a campaign to expose the opulence of the political elite under Yanukovich.
