Scenes from Newtown on anniversary of school shootings

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Scenes from Newtown, on the first anniversary of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Twenty first-graders and six adults were killed when a gunman opened fire in the elementary school on December 14, 2012. Newtown officials say the town wanted to be left alone on the anniversary. Some of the victims' families have encouraged those moved by the shooting to mark the day by performing an act of kindness in their own communities.
